Alejandra Carratú

Alejandra Carratú holds a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of the Republic (Uruguay), a postgraduate diploma in Economics, and a certification in Project Management.

She worked as an IT services consultant for a Spanish company, gaining international experience in Panama, the Dominican Republic, England, and Spain.

Since 2006, she has been part of the Uruguayan Tax Administration (Dirección General Impositiva – DGI), where she worked in the Information Technology Division, participating in projects such as Electronic Invoicing, CRS/CbC Exchange, Digital Identity, the implementation of the COBIT framework, and Income Tax Campaigns, among others.

She currently serves as Deputy Director of the Planning, Studies and Coordination Division of the DGI.
