On August 23 and 24, 2016, the 6th Meeting of the CIAT Tax Studies and Research Units Network was held in Lima, Peru, under the topic “Estimating the Tax Gap in Latin America.”

This event was co-organized by the National Customs and Tax Superintendence of Peru and ECLAC, and was sponsored by the German Cooperation.

The meeting brought together delegates from 14 CIAT member countries and was attended by representatives of ECLAC, IMF, IDB, World Bank, OECD, among others, who shared during these two days their experience in the field.
