January 11th, 2008 – The General Revenue Directorate (DGI, as per the Spanish acronym) of Dominican Republic and CIAT shall hold the Classroom Seminar “Planning ICTs in the Tax Administrations” from March 5-7th, 2008 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

The seminar is chiefly aimed at identifying the most relevant aspects in the development, follow-up and evaluation of the ICTs plan and the selection, contact and evaluation of service providers. It is geared at managers or heads of the technology and communication area of the TAs of the Spanish-speaking CIAT-member countries.

The Ibero-American TAs interested in participating in the event shall send a notice in such respect, as of February 1st, 2008, to the following e-mails: adeleon@ciat.org  and mperez@ciat.org.

It should be highlighted that the travel expenses from the destination country to Santo Domingo, accommodation, transportation and any other expense incurred by participants shall be assumed by the Tax Administration of the official’s country.
