CIAT’s Executive Secretary, Dr. Claudino Pita, presented the paper on “Equity and Taxation.  The role of direct taxation in Latin America”, within the framework of the III National Tax Congress called “Panamanian Tax Environment, current affairs”.

The above-mentioned congress was organized by the Association of Public Accountants and the Specialized University of Certified Public Accountants, aimed at bringing its participants up to date in connection with current tax legislation. This event was carried out on November 19 – 20 in Panama City.
