SIECA and CIAT analyze joint tax actions

To promote greater cooperation and exchange on tax technical and training aspects, the General Secretary of SIECA, Yolanda Mayora de Gavidia and Márcio F. Verdi, Executive Secretary of the Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations (CIAT), met recently at the SIECA headquarters.
In this meeting, they discussed common issues and analyzed joint actions in tax harmonization that may allow for devoting efforts to the exchange of technical and regional information, as well as studies and statistics.
In addition, they exchanged opinions regarding initiatives for coordinating international cooperation and supporting the Central American Customs and Tax School (ECAT) through a technical cooperation agreement. |
