Ricardo Echegaray, Federal Administrator of the Federal Administration of Public revenues of Argentina made an important presentation on the merger of the administration of internal taxes with other public finance functions.

In his presentation at the CIAT Technical Conference held in Paris, on October 18-21, Mr. Echegaray highlighted the success of the Argentine model as an example of efficiency of the  tax administration.

He also pointed out the specific results achieved through the joint work carried out by its customs and tax investigation areas.

Another main aspect of his presentation dealt with the analysis of the so-called “GLOBAL TAXPAYER” in harmful tax planning.
