From August 25 to 27, 2020, the 15th Biennial Meeting of the CIAT International Correspondents Network was held, this time virtually through the Zoom platform.

The event was attended by 30 Correspondents from member countries in the Americas, Africa, Asia and Europe; CIAT staff, officials from the Secretariat, and the Executive Secretary, Márcio F. Verdi, who personally conducted all the working sessions.

The opening remarks were made by Mrs. Margarita Faral, General Director of Revenues of the General Directorate of Taxation of Uruguay and former CIAT Correspondent for more than 30 years.

This event provided the opportunity to present the activities and programs of each of the directorates that compose the Secretariat, as well as those of the permanent missions of Spain and Italy to CIAT, on international management, technical assistance, work methodology, services offered, the virtual training program, publications and studies generated, and documentation available to the Tax Administrations.
