Sandra Corcuera-Santamaria
Sandra Corcuera-Santamaría has been a customs and trade specialist at the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington DC since 2006. She is responsible for several national and regional customs modernization projects and coordinated border management projects and trade facilitation initiatives, including coordination of the Authorized Economic Operator Program in Latin America and the Caribbean. Prior to joining the IDB, Sandra spent six years at the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of Spain in Washington, D.C., and was a project coordinator at the consulting firm European Development Projects in Brussels, Belgium. Sandra holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Leuven, Belgium and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain.
