On February 6-8, 2024, in Istanbul, Turkey, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) held the First Global Dialogue on Public Finance and Tax for Gender Equality, where the current status of the approach to gender applied to the context of expenditure and revenue in different regions of the world was discussed, recent experiences were shared, and current areas of opportunity were identified where there is still much to be done in order to build fairer and more equitable tax systems, not only in social policy actions for development, but also when it comes to inclusion with a gender approach for the purposes of tax processes.
