Panama City, Panama – October 1, 2024– The Executive Secretary of the Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations (CIAT), Mr. Márcio F. Verdi, together with the Executive Manager of Operations, David Borja, and the team of said administrative unit, met with Mr. Camilo A. Valdés, Director General of Revenue of Panama (DGI), to initiate the organization of the 3rd Technical Conference of the Network of Tax Organizations (NTO). This international event will be held in Panama City from February 18 to 20, 2025.

Both institutions highlighted the importance of the NTO Conference, which will bring together tax authorities and specialists from 180 countries to address crucial tax issues. The close collaboration between CIAT and the DGI is expected to ensure the success of this important conference.

The Network of Tax Organizations –  NTO is a network of regional and international tax organizations that seeks to strengthen tax systems worldwide to contribute to the global well-being of citizens.
