António Feliciano Braça

António Feliciano Braça is a specialist in financial literacy, fiscal citizenship, and public policy, notably serving as a resident commentator for the program Perspetiva Económica (Economic Perspective) on Rádio Nacional de Angola (Huambo Provincial Station). He has authored numerous articles and works dedicated to financial and tax education, including Eu e os Tributos (Me and Taxes), Eu e o Dinheiro (Me and Money), Joãozinho e os Impostos (Little João and Taxes), and O Orçamento Geral do Estado na Educação no Município do Huambo (2012–2015) (The General State Budget for Education in the Municipality of Huambo, 2012–2015). He also co-authored the book Kanukus e o IVA – Iniciação sobre Finanças Públicas e Fiscalidade (Kanukus and VAT – An Introduction to Public Finance and Taxation) and published the scientific article “A Literacia Financeira na Percepção dos Impostos nas Escolas do Ensino Geral”(Financial Literacy and Tax Perception in General Education Schools) in ULAMBU, the technical tax journal of the General Tax Administration (AGT).
In parallel, he is a columnist for the newspaper Expansão, as well as a writer and poet, having authored O Embrião do Direito Fiscal e Financeiro (The Embryo of Tax and Financial Law) and Rimas Poéticas do Sol à Lua (Poetic Rhymes from Sun to Moon). In higher education, he has taught at various academic institutions in Huambo province and is currently a faculty member at the Methodist University of Angola.
At the AGT, he has served in various management and coordination roles, including Head of Tax Offices and Units and Coordinator of Studies, Opinions, and Structural Reform at the Center for Tax Studies (CET); he currently serves as the Coordinator of Tax Education, Library, and Museum at the CET. He is also a member of the ULAMBU journal’s coordination team.
He holds a degree in Economics and Management from Agostinho Neto University and is pursuing a Master’s and PhD in Educational Sciences, specializing in Public Policy and Educational Contexts, at Lusófona University in Portugal.
