Álvaro Omar Franco Chacón, new Superintendent of Tax Administration of Guatemala
President Otto Perez Molina has sworn Mr. Álvaro Omar Franco Chacón as Superintendent of Tax Administration.
Mr. Álvaro Omar Franco Chacón has a Business Administration Degree from the University San Carlos of Guatemala with a Masters in Tax Administration and Assurance Technologies of Galileo University, and a Diploma in Senior Management from INCAE.
He has 18 years of career experience in the Tax Administration Superintendence, where he held several positions including: Collection and Management Intendant, Deputy Secretary of the SAT Executive Board, Superintendent of Tax Administration in Functions, Central Regional Manager, Taxpayer Service Deputy Manager, Head of the Collection Legal Department, Collection and Management in Functions Intendant, Accounting and Finance Department Head, in charge of Inventory and Budget at the Directorate General of Customs and Tax Administration Interim Superintendent.
