From June 15, 2015 took office as Director of Training and Development of Human Talent of CIAT, Mr Alejandro Juárez Espíndola of Mexican nationality.

Mr. Juárez was elected in the month of may 2015, after an international tender, based on its in-depth knowledge and years of experience of training in tax administration, development of staff and management as well as their knowledge of the subjects of taxation.

Mr. Juárez graduated from the National Autonomous University of Mexico with a Bachelor’s degree in pedagogy. Prior to the appointment served as Director of training and professionalization of the server public Local, in the Ministry of the Interior of Mexico INAFED, being responsible for coordinating training programmes held with States and municipalities throughout the country.

Mr. Márcio Verdi, Executive Secretary of the CIAT, first of all the staff of the Secretariat welcomed Mr. Juárez. For his part Mr Juárez reaffirmed its commitment to work in the projects of training that CIAT promotes.
