Within the framework of the 58th General Assembly, the CIAT Executive Council (2023-2024) met on April 22, 2024, in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, with the participation of Mrs. Margarita Faral, Director General of Revenues (DGI) and President of the CIAT Executive Council; the councilors of Argentina, Barbados, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, United States; and the Permanent Representatives of Spain and Italy to CIAT as special guests.

 The Executive Secretary, Márcio F. Verdi, presented reports on recent CIAT activities, highlighting key achievements and new developments. During his presentation, he was assisted by members of the Executive Secretariat Staff, who provided complementary information and details on ongoing programs.
