From November 29 to December 1, the 16th Plenary Meeting of the Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes was held in Lisbon, where the progress of the member countries of the Forum was discussed, along with the status of current initiatives and new developments in tax transparency and information exchange.

On this occasion, the CIAT Executive Secretariat had the opportunity to participate in Session 14 on the impact of transparency and exchange of information, and present some of the challenges of countries in Latin America and the Caribbean to continue advancing in this important matter.
