The Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations (CIAT) is pleased to announce that its handbook entitled ¨Data Governance¨ is now available in Spanish and French. Originally published in 2022 under the English title Data Governance for Tax Administrations: A Practical Guide, this key document has been translated thanks to the support of the Network of Tax Organizations (NTO).

The manual, based on technical assistance projects developed by CIAT, provides practical guidance for optimizing data capture, storage, and quality in tax administrations. It also includes tools and best practices for efficient data management, facilitating both self-assessment and the development of sound data governance. This resource is considered indispensable for those interested in strengthening their organizations’ capacity in data management, thus contributing to a more efficient and transparent tax administration.

The new version of the manual is also available in EPUB electronic format, which offers significant advantages in terms of portability, space saving and immediate access. This format allows reading adapted to any device and screen size, while facilitating quick searches and digital notetaking, enhancing the reading experience and interactive learning.
