The Internal Revenue Service is the first Ecuadorian institution to win the National Prize for quality and excellence in Public Service, awarded by the Ministry of Labour (MDT), for being a national public entity in quality, competitiveness and leadership, which has demonstrated sustainable results in efficiency and productivity, quality of service and human development.

The Director General of the SRI, Marisol Andrade, received the award on behalf of the team that makes up the Tax Administration and recalled the work done to achieve this important recognition.
