Phelippe Toledo Pires de Oliveira

Tax attorney at the Office of the Attorney General for the National Treasury in the Brazilian Ministry of Finance, where he worked as Deputy Attorney General for the National Treasury leading the tax advising team and actively participating in the discussions of the proposed Brazilian tax reform (2019-2021). He holds a Master in Taxation at the University of Paris I Sorbonne, France (2012), as well as a LL.M. and Ph.D in Tax, Economic & Financial Law at the University of São Paulo, Brazil (2013-2017). He was a visiting researcher at the University of Berkeley, California (2016), visiting scholar at the University of London, Queen Mary (2018) and a postgraduate researcher at the Institute for Austrian and International Tax at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (2021-2022). He currently teaches international taxation and tax compliance at IBMEC Brasília.
