XVII Meeting of CIAT Correspondents
On February 17, 2025, the XVII Meeting of the CIAT International Correspondents Network took place in Panama, in the on-site modality.
Thirteen correspondents from member countries participated in the meeting, representing Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Bolivia, Guatemala, India, Jamaica, Morocco, Panama, Portugal and Uruguay. Also present were the Executive President of the Bolivian Tax Service, Mr. Mario Cazón Morales; members of the CIAT management team and Secretariat officials.
The event was led by CIAT’s Executive Secretary, Márcio F. Verdi, who personally directed all the working sessions, encouraging the exchange of ideas and collaboration among the participants.
The CIAT International Correspondents Network plays a fundamental role in maintaining a constant and effective liaison between the tax administrations of the member countries and the Executive Secretariat, facilitating mutual collaboration.
