The Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations (CIAT) participated in the 14th Colombian Congress on International Taxation, held on November 13 and 14, 2025, in Bogotá, organized by IFA Colombia.

The event brought together tax authorities, academics, and international specialists to analyze the main challenges of global taxation, including tax cooperation, the competitiveness of developing countries, double taxation agreements, the digital economy, and the progress of the BEPS project.

The Executive Secretary of CIAT, Mr. Márcio Ferreira Verdi, made a notable contribution with his keynote speech entitled “Developing countries and the OECD and UN agenda: Where are we headed?”
