I have a degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Carlos III of Madrid, a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics Research from the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED) and a PhD in Economics from the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED). In addition, I am a Senior State Statistician.

My current position is Head of Area in the Studies and Statistics Service of the State Agency of Tax Administration (AEAT) in Spain. I have also held various management and technical positions in the Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF), Ministry of Economy and Finance, Ministry of Industry and the National Institute of Statistics.
