Angola is accepted as CIAT Associate Member Country

At the administrative session of the 50th CIAT General Assembly held on April 25, 2016 in Mexico City, the member country representatives unanimously approved Angola´s incorporation as associate member, thus increasing to 39 the number of member countries of the organization (31 countries from the Americas, five from Europe, two from Africa and one from Asia). Currently, the associate member countries are India and Angola.

The President of the Administration Council, Mr. Valentin Joaquim Manuel, is the representative before CIAT and Mr. Luis Gomez Sambo, Chief of the International Cooperation Department is the Correspondent.
