In response to an invitation from the Fiscal Affairs Department of the International Monetary Fund, the Executive Secretary, Mr. Márcio Verdi, participated in the Panel on “Tax Systems Under Pressure: Session 2 – Monitoring and Improving Compliance”, held on October 9, 2013 within the framework of the Fund’s annual meeting.

In this panel the Executive Secretary, presented a paper on the Levels of Tax Evasion in Latin America and its Impact on the Sustainability of Public Finances.
