Bolivia – Tax burden reaches 17.7 and tax rates are the lowest in the region

The President of the National Tax Service (SIN), Mario Cazón, reiterated that the tax burden in Bolivia amounted to only 17.7% (including taxes collected by the National Customs Office) of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). He also rejected the information published on Sunday in a local newspaper stating that “Taxes restrain the productive expansion of businesses” in the country.
