Chile – SII Director addressed the effects of the health crisis on the Tax Administration and the control of tax compliance associated with the Digital Economy at the CIAT meeting
The Director of the Internal Revenue Service, Fernando Barraza, participated in the Panel “Challenges and Opportunities for the Post-Pandemic Tax Administration”, held on Wednesday, October 21, where he explained the challenges that the Chilean tax administration has had to address in the context of the health emergency derived from Covid -19, a topic in which he highlighted, as the first priority of the SII, the protection and health care of its officials, as well as taxpayers.
