On August 23, 2024, representatives of CIAT and the JICA office in Panama met to exchange experiences and cooperation initiatives, with the aim of identifying matters of mutual interest.

On behalf of CIAT, Mr. Isaac G. Arias E., Director of International Cooperation and Taxation, and Ms. Mónica Alonso, Manager of International Cooperation, participated in the meeting. On behalf of JICA, Mr. Shohei Tada, Resident Representative of the Panama Office, Ms. Saki Ito, Project Formulation Advisor, and Mr. César Sanjur, Program Officer, participated.
