By special invitation of the United Nations, the CIAT Executive Secretary participated in the Global Conference of the Platform for Collaboration on Tax held in New York on February 14-16, 2018.

Among other authorities, Marta González Ayala, Deputy Minister of Taxation of Paraguay, President of the CIAT Executive Council and Márcio F. Verdi, CIAT Executive Secretary, participated in the Panel on “Strengthening Tax Capacity in Developing Countries”, whose moderator was Alexander Trepelkov, Director of the United Nations Financing for Development Office.
