CIAT participated in OECD Advisory Group Meeting
In response to a special invitation from the OECD, the CIAT Executive Secretary, Mr. Márcio F. Verdi, participated in the Annual Meeting of the Advisory Group on Cooperation with non-OECD Member Economies held in Vancouver, Canada, on March 29 to 31.On this occasion, Mr. Verdi presented the CIAT Ethics Program, along with the CIAT Declaration for the Promotion of Ethics, the Model Code of Conduct and the CIAT Set of Tools for evaluating ethics in the tax administrations. The Executive Secretary also participated in the discussion on international taxation; in particular, the application of methods for assessing transfer prices.
Other participants in the event were Brazil, Canada, USA, Guatemala, India, Kenya, Mexico, The Netherlands, Panama, South Africa and Uruguay, all of them member countries of CIAT, in addition to other 15 non-CIAT member countries.
