Purpose and contents of the seminar
Equity of tax systems has been the starting point in debates and reforms in different countries of the region and the world. The income of individuals, considered an appropriate measure of the taxpaying capacity according to this postulate, introduces elements which make taxes difficult to manage by the Tax Administrations. The best use of resources applied in management processes, reduces administration costs and maximizes the management of information for achieving the Administration’s objective and thereby contributing to the equity of the system.
Participants from Chile, Peru and Paraguay attended this Regional Exchange Seminar.
