The Executive Secretariat’s main objective is to afford tax administration officials from the member and associate member countries access to first level training to thus update their knowledge of taxation.

From November 2009 through February 2010, the CIAT Executive Secretariat has provided continuous training to officials from 20 of our member and associate member countries in the areas of Tax Law, International Taxation, Transfer Pricing, Tax Administration and Tax Policy and Technique, having thus trained a total of 626 officials and others.
