Closing of the program on International Taxation
The Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations – CIAT – completed, from June 13 to July 24, 2016, the Program on International Taxation to officials from the Tax Administrative Tribunal – TAT. The program focused at some deeper level on main issues and aspects covering international taxation, with the purpose of guaranteeing the effectiveness of the TAT actions, and that resolutions in the field of international taxation would have the technical and legal level required for the settlement of this litigation type.
Last Tuesday, August 2, in the TAT headquarters in Panama City took place the closing of the program. The event was attended by the judges of the Tax Administrative Tribunal, Ana Mae Jiménez Guerra; Marion Lorenzetti; Jorge Camacho Canto and Reinaldo Achurra Sanchez; on behalf of CIAT were Alejandro Juárez, Director of Training and Development of Human Talent; Maureen Perez, Training Coordinator; César Trejos, Training Assistant Technician, in addition to consultants Claudino Pita and José Luis Galíndez.
The event concluded with the delivery of certificates to the participants and the distinction to those who obtained the highest grades during the training:
- 5th position, Yulissa Batista;
- 4th position: John Espino;
- 3rd position: Paola Vega and Alexandra Perez;
- 2nd position: Marcos Polanco Sanchez
The First position was occupied by Judge Reinaldo Achurra and Mrs. Lyda Rodriguez
