On July 24, 2020, CIAT held the webinar "Transfer Pricing Perspectives in the Oil and Gas Industry" with the purpose of providing a current perspective on international control of transfer pricing applied to the oil and gas sector, in the context of COVID-19.

For this event, Susana Bokobo (Spain), Carlos González Gamero (Mexico) and José Luis Galíndez (Venezuela) participated as expert speakers and CIAT directors Gonzalo Arias and Alejandro Juárez as moderators.

 

 

This panel was developed in three sessions: the first one dealt with the current situation and prospects of taxation in the oil and gas industry; the second one discussed the issue of transfer pricing in the oil and gas industry and as a last session, a round table to comment on the final ideas of the event.

The webinar was attended by over 600 participants, mainly from Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as from Africa, Asia, and Europe. The webinar was recorded and is available for playback on our "YouTube" channel
