Executive Secretary participates in Revenue Mobilization and Development Conference
The CIAT Executive Secretary, Mr. Márcio F. Verdi, participated in the Conference held at the International Monetary Fund headquarters in Washington, D.C., on April 17-19, 2011, whose aim was to bring together leading policy makers and academics, business and civil society to improve decisions and advice by learning from successes and failures of the past, and from the most recent academic advances.
During the Conference meetings were held of the Working Group to support the guidelines originating from the G20. The participants in the meetings were representatives from the World Bank, IMF, UNO, OECD, ATAF, Embassy of France in the United States and CIAT, who on this occasion worked on the Group report to be submitted at the next G20 meeting in Paris.
Also, the CIAT Executive Secretariat made a presentation on the work in “Benchmarking” which it is carrying out jointly with the IMF and IDB.
