The Digital Taxation Forum CONEXION took place in Mexico City on August 25 and 26, organized by the Tax Administration Service – SAT of Mexico and the Association of Certification Service Providers for Electronic Invoices – AMEXIPAC . The event, held in the headquarters of the Interactive Museum of Economics, was opened by Aristotle Nunez, Head of the SAT. With more than 400 participants, the forum highlighted the participation of international speakers and prominent figures from Mexican public and private sectors.

The CIAT Director of Technical Assistance and ICT, Raul Zambrano, participated to the digital assistance strategy forum , in the debate on “Human capital evolving to the digital world”, which was also attended by Carlos Vargas Durán, Director of the Directorate General of Taxation of Costa Rica, Arturo Herrera, of the World Bank Group, and Hervert Leticia Saenz, president of the IMCP.
