Officials from the Tax Administration of Jamaica visit the Internal Revenue Directorate General of Dominican Republic under the CIAT-GIZ Cooperation Agreement

From May 18 to 20, 2015, the Directorate General of Internal Taxes (DGII) of Dominican Republic was visited by two officials from the Tax Administration of Jamaica (TAJ), in order to share the Dominican experience and best practices regarding rules and regulations of transfer pricing, as well as audit techniques related to the hotel industry and other industries.

The experience learned will allow Jamaica to develop and implement a risk evaluation system of Transfer Pricing, once the tax law on Transfer Pricing is submitted and approved by the Parliament.

Mr. Guarocuya Félix, General Director of Internal Taxes from the Dominican Republic, with Karen Doyley and Marjorie Brown, Large Taxpayers Office’s auditors from Tax Administration Jamaica.
