This seminar was held between 21 and 24 February 2017 at the AECID headquarters in Cartagena de Indias (Colombia), within the framework of the II Edition of the International Master’s Degree in Public Finance and Tax Administration, jointly taught by the National University of Distance Education and the Institute of Fiscal Studies of Spain. With the presence of 30 students of the Master’s Degree, the on-site sessions of the seminar took place, culminating the first four-month period of this Master’s program, which develops a dual methodology. It includes distance learning through the corresponding platform and face-to-face activities through these seminars. Besides attending lectures, presentations and practical cases by different speakers of the Spanish Tax Agency and the IEF, students of the Master exchange experiences, develop relations and in addition must complete the exams corresponding to this first term.

The II International Master in Public Finance and Tax Administration continues with a tradition that started more than 15 years ago, consolidating itself as one of the most important initiatives in the region, providing a high level training of Tax Administrations officials, a goal which has always received the strong support of CIAT.
