Panama City, August 10-12, 2016

The XIII Meeting of the CIAT International Correspondents Network was held in Panama City, Panama, on August 10-12, with the support of the Cooperation Program between CIAT and the GIZ from Germany.

The working sessions were chaired by the CIAT Executive Secretary, Mr. Márcio F. Verdi and the Head of the GIZ Mission at CIAT, Mr. Joerg Wisner.

The CIAT Directors, Managers and Coordinators shared relevant information and documentation, institutional as well as technical, with the Correspondents from 26 member countries, mainly from Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as Europe and Africa who participated in the meeting.

The CIAT Correspondents Network is one of the most important means of synergy and permanent high level support to the activities of the Secretariat, as well as cooperation among the member countries.
