On July 23, 2021, the CIAT Executive Secretariat had the honor of receiving Mr. Mariano Rojo, the new head of the Spanish Mission to CIAT.

Spain has had a Permanent Mission to CIAT since 1982, which is the liaison with the State Agency of Tax Administration – AEAT; the Institute of Fiscal Studies – IEF; and the Ministry of Finance of Spain in all technical assistance activities carried out within the framework of the International Cooperation Agreement.
