Mr. Reinhold Basse

It is with profound regret and deeply moved that we have learned of the demise of Mr. Reinhold Basse, official of the DSE-InWEnt-GIZ German Cooperation.

A friend of CIAT, almost since its establishment, he was a regular collaborator, having honored and given prestige to our Center through his work and participation in numerous general assemblies and technical conferences, which he continued attending even after his retirement.

His lessons constitute a fundamental background for the strengthening of the tax administrations.

He likewise firmly collaborated in the consolidation of the relationships between the GIZ and CIAT, such as through the many regional seminars successfully held at ESAF in Brasilia.

His contribution to the development of our tax organizations will remain forever as an invaluable legacy.
