Officials from the Customs Intendance of the Superintendency of Tax Administration of Guatemala, Melvyn Arana and Gady Tobar, who were attending a Seminar organized by the World Customs Organization in Panama City, visited the CIAT headquarters on Friday, December 9. They had been entrusted by the Superintendent of Tax Administration, Mr. Rudy Villeda, to present a special recognition to CIAT in commemoration of its 45th anniversary.

The colleagues from Guatemala met with Dr. María Raquel Ayala, Studies and Training Director and Mr. Francisco J. Beiner, Development and Institutional Events Manager in representation of the CIAT Executive Director, Mr. Márcio F. Verdi, who was participating in the ITD Global Conference.
