From March 5 to 9, Workshop on Transfer Pricing and Customs Valuation, held by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and World Customs Organization (WCO) took place in the Offices of the National Tax and Customs Administration of Colombia.

The event was attended by more than 20 countries from Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as Canada and the World Bank. The Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations – CIAT participated on March 8, with a presentation on the Integration of Tax and Customs Systems (Institutional Models) by our Director of Training and Human Talent Development, Mr. Alejandro Juarez Espindola.

The workshop addressed different issues related to the interaction of transfer pricing and customs valuation as instruments to protect the erosion of tax bases and their status as instruments of control for the tax administrations.
