He holds a PhD in Science from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (2017) and a master’s degree in Software Engineering from the Technological Research Institute of the State of São Paulo (2012). He has a lato sensu postgraduate degree in Java from the Brazilian Institute of Advanced Technology (2009) and an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (1994). Since 1998, he has been working with tax information systems, mainly related to the following areas: Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning applied to fraud detection, Big Data and Business Intelligence projects, Database administration, Ontology integration and Web Systems development.
