Miguel Correia is a Deputy Director-General at the Portuguese Tax and Customs Authority. Miguel holds a PhD in Tax Law from the London School of Economics, an LLM from the Georgetown University Law Centre, an LLM from the University of Essex, and a Law Degree from the Catholic University of Portugal. He has accumulated a wide international experience in tax policy and tax consulting over the past two decades, in the public and private sectors. Prior to his current position, he worked as counselor for fiscal affairs at the Permanent Representation of Portugal to the European Union, in Brussels, and as tax advisor at Deloitte in Lisbon and PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York.
