Mónica Calijuri is Lead Sector Specialist in tax administration at the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB). She specializes in modernizing tax administration in Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) countries through capacity building and digitalization. She is the author of the book Gestão Tributaria: uma abordagem multidisciplinar, where she explores a holistic view of taxation as part of business operations. Previously, she worked for the Brazilian Government and the IMF. She holds a PhD in Accounting from Sao Paulo University, and a B.A. in Economics.
