The Sub-national Tax Administrations Center of Argentina (CeATs)” has successfully completed the second workshop on “Electronic Government; simplification and faster management

With the assistance of the City of Buenos Aires Tax Administration Government (AGIP), the CeATS has organized the 2nd workshop on “Electronic Government: simplification and faster management “on April 10 to 11, 2014.

With participants representatives from the CeATS member jurisdictions and from both the public and private economic sectors, a round table was organized and a rich discussion took place on the impact of electronic government on the tax administration and management, as well as the challenges local organizations face to benefit from such strategies in order to substantially improve the quality of the public service provided to taxpayers.

Among the renowned speakers were Mr. Carlos Roberto Occaso, of the Secretariat of Federal Revenue of Brazil; Dr. Humberto Bertazza, President of the Economic Sciences Professional Council of the City of Buenos Aires; Mr. Marcelo Costa, Minister of Finance of the Province of Mendoza; Mr. Paul Fontdevilla, Executive Director of Planning and Coordination, Arba; and Ms. Marcela Goldin , Deputy Director of Communications , New Media and Quality Response , AGIP.
