Isaác Gonzalo Arias Esteban
Isaác Gonzalo Arias Esteban, of Argentine nationality, is a Public Accountant with a Master’s degree in Finance Management granted through a joint program of Universidad de El Salvador in Argentina and the State University of New York.
From 1998-2008 he held different positions in various areas of the Federal Administration of Public Revenues of Argentina. He joined CIAT in 2008 as Specialist in the Tax Research Management Office and is currently Director of International Cooperation and Taxation in the same organization.
In addition, he has participated to many international activities promoted by CIAT, OECD, IDB, IMF, GIZ, World Bank, ITD, ITC etc…among other, we can mention the CIAT Working Group on Tax Information Exchange and the Working Group N°8 on “Avoidance and evasion”. In 2018 he participated in the Course on Comparative Tax Policy and Administration – Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard University.
