CIAT participates in the second edition of the Advanced Management Course for Tax and Customs Administrations
After a 7-week online phase in which the theoretical study was combined with practical cases, a face-to-face seminar-workshop was held between December 9 and 13, 2019 at the AECID Center in Montevideo to complete the Advanced Course on Tax and Customs Administration Management through workshops and works aimed at reinforcing the technical knowledge already obtained and facilitating the acquisition of the necessary skills for its application.
This second edition of the Management Course constitutes a renewed commitment to strengthening management capacities in the field of the different tax and customs administrations. The course is supported by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the IMF Regional Technical Assistance Center for Central America, Panama and the Dominican Republic (CAPTAC-DR), the Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations (CIAT), the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IEF) of Spain, The National University of Distance Education (UNED), the World Customs Organization (WCO) and the Spanish Cooperation (AECID) which, in a clear example of collaboration, have worked together to organize and deliver this second edition of this course and maintain this important initiative with new calls in the future.
