On October 3, 2025, the Director of Technical Assistance and Innovation of the Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations (CIAT), Raul Zambrano Valencia, participated in the Electronic Invoice Latin America and Caribbean SUMMIT 2025, with the inaugural presentation of the event: “Digital Transformation and Panorama of the Electronic Invoice in Latin America and the Caribbean: Background, Challenges, Trends and Maturity of the Electronic Invoicing Model”.

This event focused on digital tax transformation and brought together leaders, entrepreneurs and experts from Latin America and the Caribbean.

CIAT’s participation reaffirms its commitment to strengthening tax administrations through technological innovation. In addition, the role of electronic invoicing as a key tool for transparency and efficiency in tax management was highlighted.
