On October 13, 2025, a Tripartite Agreement was signed between the authorities of the Arbitration Commission of the Multilateral Agreement (COMARB), the Center for Subnational Tax Administrations (CEATS) and the UNTREF for the establishment of the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory for Tax Administrations (LIATRI) in the auditorium “Tres de Febrero” at the Buenos Aires University.

The Director of Technical Assistance and Innovation of the Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations (CIAT), Raul Zambrano Valencia, gave the opening presentation at the International Seminar on Artificial Intelligence in Tax Administrations, highlighting CIAT’s vision regarding the digital transformation of tax administrations and the potential of the use of AI.

CIAT is once again committed to international cooperation and the exchange of experiences to strengthen the Tax Administrations.
