On July 16, 2024, Mr. Márcio F. Verdi, Executive Secretary of the Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations (CIAT), met with the Executive Director of the Revenue Administration Service (SAR) of Honduras, Mr. Cristian Duarte. During the meeting, issues related to the Tax Justice Law and its implementation in the Republic of Honduras were discussed.

As part of his visit, Mr. Verdi participated as a speaker at the Tax Congress 2024, organized by the Honduran Council of Private Enterprise (COHEP). His presentation, entitled “The Role of CIAT and the Importance of Tax Techniques in Tax Administrations,” highlighted the importance of technical collaboration and the strengthening of tax administrations. The event brought together experts and leaders to discuss relevant issues in tax management and administration.
